Pakistan News: Former Pakistan PM and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party President Imran Khan has been added to the no-fly list. Action has also been taken against his wife Bushra Bibi. According to sources, there are names of 80 people in this list. However, till now no officer or Shahbaz government has confirmed this. Media group Pakistan Daily has given this news quoting sources. It is being speculated that the Government of Pakistan has also put a stop to his escape abroad.
A day earlier, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had said that a decision is being taken to ban Imran Khan’s political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the May 9 violence.

Rawalpindi police had made this demand
Pakistan’s leading media group Dawn reported on Thursday that the Rawalpindi district police have given around 319 names in their wanted list, and sent the names of 245 PTI workers who are in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The remaining 74 people are yet to be arrested. On Tuesday, the Lahore police had sought inclusion of 746 PTI leaders in the no-fly list. After this, the total number of PTI workers who can be included in the list has gone up to 991. Under the PNIL, persons on the wanted list of the police are prevented from leaving the country for 30 days.

There was fierce violence in Pakistan after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on May 9 in the Al-Qadir Trust case. The next day, Imran was released on the orders of the Supreme Court. 10 people died in the violence. While more than 300 people were injured.
