Will be placed in a lower segment than the XUV700
The new Mahindra XUV500 has received a number of changes in terms of engine, shape and interior. According to the cardekho website, this will be a mid-size SUV from Mahindra. But it will be placed in a lower segment than the XUV700. The length of the next generation XUV500 car will be around 4.3 to 4.4 metres.
Will get front-wheel-drive setup
It is being told that the company will launch this new model in the market with front-wheel-drive setup. It can be given a 2.2-liter turbo petrol and turbo diesel engine option. The Mahindra XUV500 will be made a 5 seater SUV car. This car will be launched in July 2024. Its starting price will be Rs 12 lakh ex-showroom. However, at present the company has not made any disclosure about its price and launch date.
Both manual and automatic engine type
According to the information, its engine will be of 2179 cc which will generate strong power. Both manual and automatic engine types can be given in this. Its top model will be available up to Rs 17 lakh ex-showroom. The car will come with a 6-speed gearbox. The car will compete directly with the Hyundai Creta and Tata Harrier.
