2023 Kia Seltos will now get 2 engine options
According to the company, the new 2023 Kia Seltos will now get 2 engine options. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. The 1.5-litre petrol engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Whereas, the 1.5-litre diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed iMT gearbox. The car returns a mileage of 20 kmpl in diesel engine and 16 kmpl in petrol.

After the new changes, now the price of 2023 Kia Seltos has increased by Rs 50000. Now this car will be available in the market at an initial price of Rs 10.89 lakh ex-showroom. At the same time, now the top variant will be available at an initial price of Rs 19.65 lakh ex-showroom. This 5 seater car has features like airbags for passenger safety, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and hill assist control etc.

The new BS6 rules are coming into effect from April 1. The company has made changes in its popular SUV accordingly. Due to which its prices have also been affected a little. The company has now discontinued the DCT unit in this model with the 1.4-litre turbo petrol. It will continue to get a 6-speed torque converter option. The 6-speed manual transmission has been dropped on the diesel engine.
