Gujarat’s ‘Natwarlal’ arrested from Jammu and Kashmir

Gujarati Natwarlal: One ‘Natwarlal’ of Gujarat has been arrested by the police from Jammu and Kashmir. The accused used to call himself a PMO officer. He also got Z plus security from the central government. He also recently visited the post on the India-Pakistan border and met top officials in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to media reports, the fake officer arrested has been identified as Kiran Patel. He used to project himself as a top official in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). The accused, Kiran J Patel, used to pose as Additional Director (Strategy and Campaigns) in the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to the information, the accused had also taken Z-plus security cover by cheating the administration. He had taken a bulletproof SUV by cheating the officials. Along with this, he also stayed in a five-star hotel in Jammu and Kashmir as a government guest. Please inform that thug Kiran Patel’s Twitter account is verified and has more than 1000 followers. He had held several meetings with the officials during his two visits to Srinagar earlier this year.

Patel had visited many tourist places in Kashmir including Gulmarg. He has posted several videos and pictures of his visit to Kashmir surrounded by paramilitary forces on Twitter. In a video shared on his social media platforms on February 26, he is seen walking in the snow amid tight security around him.

According to media reports, the matter came to light when the CID wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police informed the Kashmir Police about Patel, a resident of Ahmedabad, staying at the Lalit Grand Hotel in Srinagar. The fraudster was arrested on March 3 after J&K Police received information about him. He was arrested 10 days ago, but kept secret. JK Police announced the arrest on Thursday.

A case under sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused at Nishat police station. The security personnel seized fake identity cards from his possession. According to information, Patel claims to have a PhD from Commonwealth University, Virginia, MBA from IIM Trichy, as well as M Tech in Computer Science and BE in Computer Engineering.
