Mission Karnataka (Gaurav Gaurav from New Delhi): A few days are left for the announcement of the dates for the Karnataka assembly elections. In such a situation, all the big leaders of BJP are doing vigorous programs in Karnataka. At the same time, we are putting all our efforts to deal with the internal challenges of the party.
Election dates will be announced in the last week of March
The dates for the assembly elections in Karnataka are set to be announced in the last week of March. In the last 10-12 days just before the announcement, BJP has decided to field all its top and star leaders. The party has completely packed the calendar of politics from today i.e. from March 17 to March 25.
PM Modi will visit Karnataka on March 25
In this sequence, the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Karnataka on March 25 is important. PM Modi will address a large public meeting at the conclusion of BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra rally in Davangere, Karnataka. This will be PM Modi’s last rally before the elections.
Prior to that, on March 22, PM Modi will also go to Karnataka for the launch of a government scheme. Before the PM’s rally on March 25, Home Minister Amit Shah is going on a two-day tour of Karnataka. According to party sources, Home Minister Amit Shah will hold election meetings, rallies and meeting of party leaders in Karnataka on March 23 and 24 and give the mantra of election victory.
Nadda’s three-day tour after Home Minister Shah
Just before Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit, BJP National President JP Nadda is going on a 3-day Karnataka tour. BJP President JP Nadda will be visiting Karnataka on March 17, 18 and 19. During this, JP Nadda’s road show, election rally and organization meeting are proposed in Bellary. On March 18, JP Nadda has called a meeting of the Party Campaign Committee and the Party Election Management Committee. Before the meeting by JP Nadda, Karnataka election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan is going on Karnataka tour.
Giants engaged in ending the feud
On one hand, before the announcement of the election, the BJP has given life to the preparations. On the other hand, BJP is working fast to end the infighting. Angry party leader V Somanna was called to Delhi and persuaded by the central leaders. Election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh and Union minister Pralhad Joshi met Somanna for hours and satisfied him and assured him of serious consideration of his demands. Gave.
Claim of stampede in Congress-BJP
Earlier, about 25 days ago, Ramesh Jarkiholi was also satisfied by persuading the BJP central leadership. BJP sources say that some BJP leaders may leave the party and go to the Congress before the dates for the Karnataka assembly elections are announced. Many important leaders of Congress are also in contact with BJP and their joining will be done soon.
BJP is also claiming that huge crowd is gathering in PM Modi’s meeting in Karnataka and this shows that the people of Karnataka want a double engine government.
So will the differences end before the elections?
BJP does not want any kind of internal discord in the party. Party sources say that recently former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa’s talk of contesting his son from his traditional seat Shikarpura and BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi’s strong reaction on that and after that CT Ravi’s statement was answered by BS Yeddyurappa’s younger brother. The top leaders of the party are angry with the incident of giving by son BY Vijayendra.
National President JP Nadda will talk to CT Ravi and Yeddyurappa on this issue. The BJP top leadership does not want any kind of infighting. Therefore, even before the announcement of the election dates, the exercise to eliminate all the controversial subjects has been intensified.
BJP engaged in improving performance in Old Mysore
The biggest challenge before the BJP in the Karnataka elections is to improve the party’s performance in the Old Mysore region. The party is confident that the BJP will perform better this time in the Old Mysore region as well. From the point of view of elections, BJP is working by dividing Karnataka into 6 regions.
