Bengal laborer won 75 lakh lottery in Kerala

Kerala Lottery: A laborer from Bengal has won a lottery worth Rs 75 lakh in Kerala. After knowing about winning the lottery, the laborer of Bengal ran straight to the police station and demanded his safety. He told that he was afraid that someone might snatch his lottery.

SK Badesh, a resident of West Bengal, was in for a surprise when he won the Kerala government’s Stree Shakti lottery of Rs 75 lakh. He immediately went to the Muvattupuzha police station late on Tuesday night to seek security for his prize money.

SK Badesh sought police protection as he was not aware of the formalities and was also afraid that someone would snatch the ticket from him. After the laborer’s plea, the Muvattupuzha police explained all the formalities to him and promised complete security.

Interestingly, SK Badesh had tried his luck with lotteries earlier as well, but had never won. He told that he was engaged in road construction work at Chottanikkara in Ernakulam, during which he bought the ticket. SK Badesh has not come to Kerala for many years and he is not familiar with Malayalam language. He called his friend Kumar to help him.

SK Badesh said that after getting the lottery money, he would return to his home in Bengal. Will renovate the house after returning home. Along with this, the farmer will do farming.
