Bangladesh Bus Accident: In Bangladesh, at least 16 people were killed and 30 others injured when a Dhaka-bound bus fell into a gorge and overturned. It is being told that the bus met with an accident when it was passing through Qutubpur area of Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur. During this, the bus going from the approach road of Padma Bridge fell into the ditch on Sunday morning.
According to the information, the dead could not be immediately identified. OC Abu Naeem MD Mofazzel Haque of Shibchar Highway Police Station said that the fire service and police are carrying out the rescue operation along with the local people. The injured have been taken to hospitals depending on the severity of their injuries.

Several reports claimed that the driver of the Imad Paribhan bus lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fall into a gorge. Madaripur Superintendent of Police Mohammad Masood Alam said the injured passengers have been admitted to various hospitals.
