He said that Germany is also India’s second largest development cooperation partner and has played an important role in India’s development journey.

PM Modi had met during the day
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at Hyderabad House in Delhi. After this meeting which lasted for about an hour, Prime Minister Modi and Olaf Scholz jointly addressed the press. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Delhi on Saturday on a two-day visit to India. He was received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan here.
