These 10 states will get heavy rains in the next 48 hours

Weather Today: The weather has remained very cold since the first day of the new year 2023 in the whole of North India. From the mountains to the plains of North India, there is an outbreak of extreme cold. However, for the last three-four days people have got some relief from the cold. But once again the weather patterns are expected to change in the country.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of increase in cold once again in the next one or two days. Actually, it is raining continuously along with snowfall in the mountains. Due to which the weather pattern there is very cold. Significantly, the mountains of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been receiving rain along with snowfall for the past several days.

Along with this, the Meteorological Department says that till January 26, the weather pattern will remain the same and rain will continue along with snowfall. Along with today and tomorrow i.e. on January 26, light rain may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West UP. After snowfall in the mountains and rain in the plains, the cold may return once again. It is being told that the cold winds blowing from the hilly areas will also bring down the mercury in the plains.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, heavy rain and snowfall are likely in many areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Along with this, hailstorm activities are possible in parts of Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Haryana, North Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh.

On the other hand, light to moderate rains are expected in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
