Lucknow Building Collapse: So far 14 people have been rescued after a residential building collapsed on Wazir Hasanganj Road in Lucknow on Tuesday. On Tuesday night, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DGP) DS Chauhan told that five people are still buried under the debris of the collapse of a residential building on Wazir Hasanganj Road in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow.

DGP said – proper investigation of the incident will be done

Talking to media persons the DGP said, “Five people are still trapped under the debris and they are being supplied with proper oxygen. They are in the same room. We are in touch with two people. No one has been arrested yet. Proper investigation will be done.”

Deputy CM said – three people died due to building collapse

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said three people were killed when a residential building collapsed on Wazir Hasanganj Road in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Tuesday. Police is present at the spot and rescue operations are on.

Pathak, who reached the spot, said, “The building suddenly collapsed. Three bodies have been found and sent to the hospital. NDRF and fire brigade personnel are present at the spot, rescue operations are on.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the incident

According to an official statement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the accident and directed him to send SDRF and NDRF teams to the spot. The Chief Minister directed the officers of the district administration to immediately take the injured to the hospital for proper treatment.

Along with wishing the injured a speedy recovery. Along with this, the District Magistrate and senior police officers, teams of SDRF and NDRF have been instructed to go to the spot and conduct relief work. Along with this, instructions have also been given to many hospitals.
