Shimla: There is a big update of the weather of Himachal Pradesh. Snowfall is going to increase from tonight amidst the bitter cold here. According to Surendra Paul, head of the Indian Meteorological Department, snowfall will increase at different places in Himachal Pradesh from today and will continue till tomorrow. According to the information, the temperature will go up to 2 to 3 degree Celsius at night.

After this, the temperature is expected to be up to 5 degree Celsius amidst snowfall at different places of Himachal Pradesh tomorrow. The Meteorological Department estimates that on January 21 and 22, the days will be very cold. There will be no snow during this time. Then after this, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall between 23 and 26.
There will be snowfall in the higher areas
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of Western Disturbance from the night of January 20, cold will increase in Himachal Pradesh. During this, there may be heavy rain and snowfall in Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu along with Shimla, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Sirmaur districts and nearby high altitude areas. Heavy snowfall is also forecast in Shimla city.
