new Delhi: Pakistan team is playing the first test against New Zealand at the first National Stadium Karachi. After this the team will play the second and last Test from January 2. The fans have got great news regarding the second test.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to open the gates of the National Bank Cricket Stadium for free during Pakistan’s second Test against New Zealand. A PCB official told Geo News on condition of anonymity that there will be free entry for Karachiites during the second Pakistan vs New Zealand Test starting January 2.

Entry will be available everywhere except VIP stand

Free entry for Karachiites in all stands during the second Test, except for the stand with two VIP tickets, the official said. This entry will be on first come first serve basis. Javed Miandad and Hanif Mohammad stand in VIP status at the National Stadium Cricket Arena in Karachi. In which there is a ticket of 500 rupees per day.

Viewership is continuously decreasing

PCB is finding it difficult to bring spectators to the stadium during Test cricket. The ongoing Test between Pakistan and New Zealand has attracted a very limited number of spectators to the stadium. One of the reasons behind this is the schedule of the games as all the playing days in both the Tests are working days. The performance of the Pakistan team is one of the reasons for the falling viewership. Talking about the first Test, at the end of the third day’s play, New Zealand has taken a lead of two runs. New Zealand has scored 440 runs losing 6 wickets in the first innings. It has to be seen what kind of turns emerge in the match on the fourth day.
