Pregnant women will get breakfast along with free ultrasound at government health centers in UP, Deputy CM announced

Uttar Pradesh News in Hindi: Lucknow. In the health centers of Uttar Pradesh which do not have ultrasound facility, free ultrasound facility will be started in public-private-partnership mode. Apart from this, pregnant women will also get breakfast, as pregnant women go hungry while waiting for a doctor’s appointment or ultrasound. This announcement was made by UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak during a program.

Facility will be available at health centers across the state

Uttar Pradesh Health Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said during a press conference that pregnant women would be given this facility under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA). All Community Health Centers (CHCs) across the state will provide free ultrasound facility along with breakfast during check-up. Explain that under PMSMA, many types of facilities are given to pregnant women by the government.

According to media reports, Dr. Amita Shukla, a senior gynecologist at a hospital, told that women usually do not know when they go to the doctors how long it will take. That’s why she walks on an empty stomach. Another reason behind this is that we will go out and eat something different. He said that if breakfast is served at the health centre, it will ensure that their nutritional needs are met for the day they come for check-up.

Facilities were also increased for dengue patients

Let us tell you that before this, many facilities were also ensured for dengue patients by the government. For example, beds should be made available to patients on the lines of private hospitals. Apart from this, every patient who reached the hospital got treatment. There should be no shortage of medicines at any government health center in the state.
