The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a 25 km long roadshow from Surat airport to Varachha rally site. After this he will address a public meeting at Mota Varachha. After this, Prime Minister Modi will also address rallies at Netrang in Bharuch district and Mehmedabad in Kheda district.
Arvind Kejriwal will also reach Surat today
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will also be on a two-day visit to Surat from today. During this, Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the textile industry and gem artisans. Along with this, he will also address a public meeting at Yogi Chowk. It has been said by the Aam Aadmi Party that Kejriwal will also hold a road show in Katargam.
Gujarat Aam Aadmi Party general secretary Manoj Sorathia claimed that people associated with the textile and diamond industries were supporting his party. He said that Surat Municipal Corporation is the biggest civic body in Gujarat today. As per our internal survey, AAP is leading in all 12 seats with more vote share than BJP.
The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Gujarat president Gopal Italia from Katargam, former Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti leaders Alpesh Kathiriya from Varachha Road and Dharmic Malviya from Olpad.
